Lavender and Linen a great marriage!

For many years we have offered this wonderful french lavender linen ribbon, it captures an impression of a home garden and has always been appreciated by all of you! Recently, I came across a great source of high quality linen fabric, it is called Fabric-stores.com. I could not resist getting some yardage in the many colors... then they also send some easy projects to sew with their linen...et voila, my Saturday morning was happily occupied making the "Handy Linen Sac" , and of course I had to use some ribbons and the French Lavender Linen ribbon was the choice..see the few photos!

For those of you, who would like to buy it by the yard, we will post it on Renaissance Ribbons retail site next week!

  • Hello Admin,
Thanks for the info, I’ve always wanted to do my wedding color as purple, although I am open to suggestions since purple seems a very difficult color to find (esp. for BM dresses). My idea was to do royal purple tablecloths with lavender napkins. HOWEVER, my mom came up with a very original (and awesome) idea that we should have different centerpieces for each table, made up entirely of one flower for each table. Meaning, instead of place cards with table numbers, we would have little pictures of the specific flower, such as: the sunflower table, the tulip table, etc.

I really dont want white linens, but how can I do purple linens with all these different color flowers on each table without it looking tacky? What do you think?

    Thanks for the suggestions!

PS Purple is negotiable, the different flower centerpiece idea is not.
I look forward to your next post
