From Allison Aller, designer: "I have begun doing a series of "Home Portraits", integrating photos printed onto fabric with embroidery and embellishment.  "Barbara's Door", 13" X 18", was a gift for my friend Barbara Curiel, an English professor at Humboldt State University.  The quilt arrived at her home right after she and her husband Michael returned from their honeymoon!
